WE WOULD LIKE TO INVITE YOU TO OUR NEXT EXECUTIVE FORUM, ON THE 10TH MARCH AT ONE ALDWYCH, LONDON.

The theme will focus on the increasing pressures in today’s market from: increasing shareholder value, reducing costs and mitigating risk and the impact this is having on the IT function.

We are pleased to welcome Mark Hoyland, Infrastructure and Informations Systems Director for Trader Media Group who will be talking about his journey towards Cloud services and how this has aided the changing dynamics of Auto Trader’s business. Jeff Chittenden, Chief Operating Officer of Vertex Data Science Ltd will discuss the benefits that Cloud services have brought to Vertex. We will also be joined by Jim Marsh, CEO of Cable&Wireless Worldwide, who will discuss employing new business models in line with market developments.

As those who have attended in the past already know, the session provides an excellent forum for you to have an open and frank discussion with your peers in other organisations as well as Senior Executives from Cable&Wireless Worldwide behind closed doors.

WHO'S SPEAKING?

Jim Marsh , our CEO, joined C&W in November 2005 through the acquisition of Energis where he was Director of Retail. In this role he oversaw the development and service of all the channels to market. Jim is a qualified chartered accountant specialising in corporate finance and recovery.

Jeff Chittenden joined Vertex as COO in 2007. He has full responsibility for all operations and information systems that support 45 million customers globally. His career has seen him in executive leadership roles with major financial organisations such as Wachovia Bank, Juniper Bank (Barclays USA), Citibank, JP Morgan and First USA/Bank One.

He started his career originally as a computer programmer and has subsequently been acknowledged as one of the top ten CIOs by the major financial magazine “Banking”.

Mark Hoyland is responsible for hosting the Autotrader Website and provision of internal IT to Trader Media Group (a subsidiary of the Guardian Media Group). Previous to this Mark was UK Operations Director for Reuters and EMEA Operations Director for Computer Sciences Corporation.

Philip Grannum is responsible for driving sales in the Enterprise channel in Cable&Wireless Worldwide. Previous to this he was Director of Product Management at Cable&Wireless Worldwide, focusing on product development and marketing.

Gary Palmer is an executive facilitator and coach. Having himself spent 20 years in the technology industry; 5 years ago he turned his full attention to board facilitation, mediation and coaching.
